Application
Rapid Prototyping
When a company comes out with a brand new product what we tend to see is the outcome of many experiments. throughout a development cycle, a physical model is created which is termed a prototype. A prototype is created to visualize the shape, feel, fit and function of the final product. This prototype is revised very often to confirm that all client needs are fulfilled. The manufacturing method for these prototypes may be quite costly and time overwhelming that delays product launches and additionally takes quite a financial bite. this is often where 3D printing enters, one machine will manufacture multiple prototypes of various shapes and sizes and all of this takes place within a few hours. This drops the cycle time to launch yet as doesn’t price as much on tooling for molds and dies for every prototype.
